This fully tubeframe Dodge Ran IMSA in 1978 and 1979 in various iteration’s. On occasion it outran “all” of the 935’s. In period it used 18 inch wide rear tires, nearly as wide as the 917.10/30 Can Am cars. Engine is based on a 426 Hemi that has been increased to 582 CI. It uses 4 Weber carburetors that are 63 MM. It makes nearly a 1000hp. Lap times when last ran at VIR in 2017 was in the same range as a current 2025 IMSA GTD PRO pole sitting car at VIR. It will cruise the banking at Daytona not topping the gear out at nearly 200. Car has nearly 50 years of spares and parts that were tested to make the car faster. This car can run any Historic event in the world including Goodwood and Classic Le Mans. The car needs nothing but a set of tires to go on track.
